Get Your Case Ready

START BUILDING YOUR PC

If this is your first time, it is recommended that you go in the order the tutorial describes.

  • GET YOUR CASE READY.

      Inspect your case for damage.
What you are looking for is any damage that would preclude the case from functioning properly.
Second, and most important, you are looking for any sign of an impact that could damage the power supply inside.
    • Inspect the front.
    • Inspect the back.
    • Open the case.
You'll need to open it as you begin to work. Look for loose panels within the bays
    • Inside your case.
This is what a normal case in excellent condition looks like. This case is new, so you'll notice the power cable and a brown box inside as well. The box contains mounts for your motherboard with that particular case, plently of screws, and even some AT/ATX fittings for the back of the case.
    • Leave your case open. We'll get back to it very shortly.
You can take the other side cover off, too.

    Install Your Mainboard.
